Mountain Woodcraft, LLC is a family-owned and operated custom woodworking shop situated on 3 acres in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our shop and offices are nestled on a bank overlooking the gently cascading headwaters of the Enoree River. We are located in Travelers Rest, SC, and are conveniently located to the Upstate of South Carolina as well as many destinations throughout North Carolina including Asheville, Hendersonviile, Tryon and Lake Lure.
Founded by James Richardson in 2007, Mountain Woodcraft LLC joined the capentry expertises of James with his brother, Jared, to create a custom woodworking company where the motto, taken from Gustav Stickley, is simple: ALS IK KAN (To the best of my ability). All of our employees are dedicated woodworkers. We take great pride in what we create, and we are happy to know that what we are creating will be enjoyed for many years to come.
